| What is BRU? and how does it work ?
BRUs primary function is to reliably backup and restore your data, and is specifically written for Linux or Mac OSx 10.2+ Servers, but is able to backup a diverse range of clients including : Mac OSx / All Linux Distributions / Solaris / Windows 98, XP Professional, NT4.0, 2000, 2003 / FreeBSD / OpenBSD / AIX / SCO Openserver / SCO UnixWare / IRIX / HP-UX.

| If I purchase BRU Server for MacOSX or Linux do I need to purchase the agents to backup my other machines?
No, There is no additional costs for backing up diverse agents. If you are running BRU Server (either in demo or full version) you can download and use ANY of our available agents to backup your other machines at no additional cost. (Just make sure you have enough client licenses to cover all the machines your wish to backup). **Please Note : This does NOT include the Windows Open File Manager Add-on, which can be purchased under the BRU Server sections on this site.

Definately ! Protek Developments currently wholesale BRU to a number of resellers around Australia and New Zealand. Please note that in order to qualify to become a reseller your organisation must have purchased 10 x individual copies of BRU before reseller pricing will be applied.
